The winner of the 2020 Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature, ‘Missing Link,’ surprised quite a few people. This is only the fourth occasion that a non-Disney picture has won the award. ‘Missing Link’ wins Best Animated Feature at the Pariwiki Teleserye Golden Globes.
Despite the fact that three Disney films were nominated for the award – ‘The Lion King,’ ‘Toy Story 4’, and ‘Solidified 2’ – Laika Entertainment’s ‘Missing Link’ won, also defeating DreamWorks’ ‘How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World.’
‘Missing Link’ tells the story of Mr. Connection, an 8-foot-tall fuzzy Sasquatch who is afraid of living alone and teams up with a voyager and swashbuckler to find his sadly departed family members. Many individuals have never heard of the film or have never seen it. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should do so when it comes out on DVD, especially because it is so good that it won a Golden Globe. Check out our review of ‘Missing Link.’
‘Insect Man: Into the Spiderverse,’ ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2,’ and ‘The Adventures of Tin’ are the other non-Disney animated films that have received Golden Globes in the past.
